CCLD Kentucky Literacy NewsCCLD Annnounces Funding for Literacy Research CCLD is pleased to announce to its university partners the completion of CCLD's research agenda for Kentucky and an opportunity to apply for research funding related to the agenda. The development of the research agenda was a year-long effort conducted by a think tank of literacy researchers from CCLD's partner state universities, private colleges, and state agencies. Based on a close examination of Kentucky's literacy data, early childhood through adulthood, the research agenda outlines the most important research that is needed to advance Kentuckians' literacy learning. It identifies four priority topics for study: Teacher Preparation in Literacy, Family and Community Literacy, Student Achievement Data, and School and Program Content.
