Due to the success of the 2006 Statewide Reading Recovery conference, teachers' requests and evaluation comments, the Reading Recovery Center at the University of Kentucky will hold a statewide conference for Reading Recovery professionals on July 18th and 19th in Lexington. The conference will focus on the recently released guidebooks entitled Literacy Lessons Designed for Individuals by Dr. Marie Clay.

The Reading Recovery Center at the University of Kentucky is proud to announce that Dr. Billie Askew, Dr. Salli Forbes, Lucy Gettman, and Francisco Gómez-Bellengé will all provide presentations at this year's conference. When registering please be aware that Dr. Billie Askew will present only on Wednesday, July 18 and Dr. Salli Forbes will present only on Thursday, July 19.

RRCNA Director of Advocacy Lucy Gettman will present only on Thursday, July 19. Additionally, NDEC Director Francisco Gómez-Bellengé will present on both days.
